i love birds

good morning! i just had my breakfast and spent some time watching the birds. oh i really love birds. the red cheeked bulbuls are back from their summer holiday, seeing them reminds me that its almost a year now living in lamma. and it has been wonderful. the magpie robins are also around, and they remind me of nepal. i see them a lot in the garden at shechen guesthouse. oh these photos are wonderful, i found them from the hong kong bird watch society. i also saw a tiny bird which always fly in flocks. i have yet to see them up close. they are dull apple green in colour. give me another year in lamma, i think i am able to tell all the different calls from the birds. now i only know the bulbuls and the pigeons. behind the house, is a hill. and this is where i watch the birds from. if i have binoculars it would be better! there are a few pine trees in lamma. look at the clouds! sending love and light to you all from lamma...
two soaring hawks.. can you see them? its such a luxury to be able to look up and see the big vast sky, right above my head.
after checking out the birds and the clouds, time for the plants. look! she is doing so well.. flowers! about to bloom. nature knows her time well. and hey that orange thing in the background is not some ping pong ball ok.. its a overly ripened mini mandarin orange. haha... she is doing so very well. i had one of it before, its so sour! i am also waiting anxiously for them to bloom. i am worried when i am away, i will miss it you see. i have engaged my neighbour's maid to watch the cats and the plants for me. i think she is good, the last one didnt really pay attention to the plants. i was devastated when she cut the edges of the leaves which had dried, off a plant. she meant well. but i would never cut them. after the plants, then i took breakfast. les and julia's black cat was also at the roof with me this morning. he looks a little pissed off becos i always meowed at him when he is sleeping. i am going to miss this house. ~_~
