Kyurii What I Wear Today - featuring upcoming items!

hey girls, how are you? its pretty warm here. i heard its really hot in singapore. this afternoon, i was shooting at the roof for the coming launch. oh i am so excited! after a month break, today i had a lot of fun even though i was sweating away... it just proves that a little break is so very necessary from time to time, it spurs you on with much greater energy! and work becomes so much more efficient and a joy!

after the shoot, i went down to get some vege to make dinner. i ended up wearing the new items down. i cant wait till next mon to show you. so here you go, a very advanced preview! hee... after the seemingly long winter and wearing layers in nepal, i am so glad to be in shorts and simple blouses. hm.. ok! one more hint about whats coming up! DENIM! yes.. hotpants and mini skirts! we hope you like them becos we do. i remembered last summer, we had customers asking us for denim shorts. this year, we are selling them becos i found some nice ones last monday. so happy! if you are thinking of getting some denim items, wait for our launch next mon, ok? haha..

and this is what i was wearing last mon. hehe. girls you know the thing about chuba is, after you make one, then you feel like making another one of a different colour. and then very soon, you get seriously addicted! especially when you see the rows and rows of colourful fabric. kim has over a dozen if i remembered correctly (made over a period of 6 years, actually its quite reasonable as she does wear them quite often).

she really got me into this chuba thing. initially i only intend to make an embroidery one for losar, thats it. then she suggested making another plain one (this pale green one in photo) for less formal occasion (and also for second day of losar, coz i dun wan to be seen wearing the same chuba for 3 days of new year). ok make sense. so now i have 2 sets of outer dress and 3 inner dress (pink, white and green) so that i can mix and match them.

AND NOW.... i feel like making a textured black outer dress to match deep purple inside. or maybe a deep fuchsia one (i saw a western lady wearing that, so nice!). or maybe pale mauve...

i wonder if i complete my thangka course in 6 years time, how many sets of chuba would i have? haha...
