4th day in lamma

hi girls, this is my 4th day in lamma island. unpacking is a pain.... haha i have about 30 over boxes in which i unpacked 9. way to go! hope to get it done before leekeng arrives this coming sunday! i am really LOVING island 'kampong' life. i think the cats are loving it. they have many friends around. my neighbours all have cats which roam around freely. the birds are my alarm clocks. no more sound of the trams and cars and the horrible traffic light blink sound outside my happy valley flat. i love being so close to nature. i saw a pair of toads mating yesterday evening. i thought it was a fat toad then i realised oops, excuse me, its the guy sitting on top of the girl. they kept jumping around, and then flipped over, then flipped back again and jump again, all these actions without changing position. haha. cute.
my working table is currently a wooden wine box. yeah! no sofa, just futon and pillows.
alright need to work now. we are in the midst of preparing something for this coming week. talk again soon.
p.s. thanks jiahui for your comment. everything's going very well. i just need to study the ferry timetable really well, like this morning i missed the 9:40am one (the last 20min interval ferry), and that's it. from 9:40am onwards, its every 45 mins. i had to wait for the 10:30am one so i went for a leisure breakfast by the sea. the westerners living on the island were there reading over their cup of coffee, or on their laptop, for one second i was thinking is it a working day today? don't these people need to work? haha the pace is so laid back. love it. haha : )
