i have listened and sang this song so many times in the past but this morning after so many years, it is the first time i really truly feel it. just touched my heart... thank you mj for leaving us with these simple words of truth. reminding us that each one of us 'could really get there. IF YOU CARED ENOUGH FOR THE LIVING. make a little space to make a better place.' it is really that simple. i am here to care for the other. if we keep this mantra strong in our hearts, every bad situation could be turned around.
let's try it. start with the littlest of things that pissed you off. for me, i dun really like it when people step onto my mat when they walk into the yoga studio. you know.. i am already sitting on it. but their eyes are just fixed on finding their fav spots they forget to pay attention to where their feet are going. and i dun fancy the idea of having to do child pose with my face on the mat where a few secs ago, someone else just stepped on (maybe she has smelly feet.. faint) haha..
ok ok if it happens again later today, i will try to think 'its ok they step onto my mat, it's better than if they were to step onto my towel, trip and fall flat on their face!' hahahaha... ok enjoy!
