flower for you

hello hello! after two days of sleep, nat geo and ribena light, i am back! 90% recovered! tonite i am having dinner with carmen at soho before she leaves for LA next tues. i got to know her through work about 5 years ago, she was the producer of one of the photographers i often used. we become good friends. she just left her job, going back to LA for a few months to rest, and also to learn how to sail the smaller sailboat. i keep having this vision of her doing all that fancy sailing manoeuvres in excellent rapport with a group of big built 'gwei low's. hahaha very funny. but she said what she wants to learn is a smaller, one man sailboat. mm.. i still have not figured out what to get for her.
i bought roses and eustoma to add some life to the house. here's a close of up of an eustoma for you. i love it in this colour. predominantly white but within the layers of petals, a very light pink is subtly blending itself into the whites. only the universe can create palettes like that. looking into it, just makes me feel soft and light.
p.s. i love my canon ixus60! its been working so hard for me, shooting thousands of photos every week.
